Lobby Software Upgrade Released by Full Tilt Poker

Full Tilt Poker, host of a worldwide online poker cardroom service, has finally released a new lobby software upgrade which was available to poker players for download this morning.

This new software upgrade which comes in a full package has several new features such as a fresh design for its lobby, new security pin system and an exciting big bonus offer for which the players had been requesting.

Login Screen is the first thing to notice in this new software. Compared to its previous design, its size is much larger. Its color scheme also becomes gray to better complement the look of the site.

Full Tilt Poker also provides with a new security Pin system so that their regular players will be given with a greater security because this system doesn't only require the login and password but also a 3-card pin combination. This security pin is randomly generated by the poker room and sent to users for verification before they can login. This improvement will make hacking of accounts almost impossible.

Slot Makers in Ohio and Illinois Celebrate Good News

LAS VEGAS, Nevada - The slot makers in Ohio and Illinois are celebrating some good news with the newly approved gambling expansion legislation by their Governors.

The gambling expansion legislation will add new slots in the two states with an estimation of 40,000 to 75, 0000 and may also trigger other states for their slot machine expansion.

In Illinois, Gov. Pat Quinn signed a bill that allow to add more video poker and video blackjack machines to bars and restaurants in the state.

In Ohio, Gov. Ted Strickland approved an agreement that allow to add up to 2,500 video lottery terminals for the state's 7 racetracks.

This approved legislation was cause for a big celebration with the slot makers.

Online Casino Industry Advances Despite US Seizures

For the past couple of weeks, online casino industry was stocked up due to US Government Seizing Bank Accounts that held funds to pay out online poker players. However, this late past week, many of the top online poker sites in the world were back to accepting US players.

The poker players themselves were much more affected by the seizure than online casino sites. Over $30 million was frozen, leaving many players to wonder if they had seen the last of their winnings. At the very least, the players had been inconvenienced.

"I was worried not because I had money tied up in my accounts," said online poker player Jon Bresh, "but because I enjoy playing the game of poker and I was concerned I would no longer be allowed to make deposits to play."

New York, Ready to Use Electronic Bingo Gambling Cards

The Racing and Wagering Board decided to use electronic Bingo Gambling Card after they received lots of emails and letters from players. This new audible bingo card will beep players when they win and also when they only have one number left for a bingo.

The fear for the Board was that the sounds would create a casino-like atmosphere. They did not want the bingo halls turning into casinos, but after listening to Richardson's gripes, they changed their minds. Read more >>>

Gambling and Education Collaborate for Teri Hatcher

Nowadays, many politicians have used education as their way to make gambling be legalized in their states. They assure that money from casinos and other gambling outlets would proceed to school education systems, helping to provide those school sectors that demand for more budget.

Teri Hatcher, one of the star actresses on Desperate Housewives, is offering up another way that gambling can be helpful. Hatcher has revealed that she uses gambling to teach her daughter, Emerson, math.
